Well summer time is here and so is the chance once again to get to enjoy all those fun summer activities we love to do. One of my favorite past times in the summer is camping. The whole family loves to do it and it’s great to get away and relax after a long week. We quite often have friends that join us and it turns into a great time. The Eureka Timberline 4 Tent has some pretty impressive features. This would be expected coming from a company such as Eureka which is known for its excellence in product and quality. Even today the exact year Eureka started is a mystery yet we know it was before 1895. This all started in Binghamton, New York and the company still resides there today. Their first wares were canvas products mostly consisting of Conestoga wagon covers and horse blankets for the 19th century American Frontiersman. They also supplied American flags, store awnings and camping tents.
When World War II came so did the demand for hospital ward tents and that is when Eureka expanded worldwide. The first Eureka Timberline 4 Tent came out in the 1970’s and is just as good today as it was back then. Eureka tents have also travelled some very historic events. They travelled the first Mt Everest ascents by a Canadian and an American in 1986 and 1988. This company not only produces tents they are engrained in the history of this country. This Eureka Timberline Tent is definitely the tent the serious camper wants to purchase. Every time I go camping I am so thankful this is the tent I picked. As stated previously the Eureka Timberline Tent is not for everyone but I highly recommend you at least check it out before you make your purchase.
